This link takes you directly to the first post in freelance travel writer and prolific journalist Amanda Castleman's brand new (as in "rung in right along with 2006") blog. I'm linking right to the beginning, for two reasons. One is the list of destinations she's hit in the past three years. Impressive. Gotta-get-me-a-plane-ticket-now inspiring. Second, she explains that this blog was born in response to the departure of her significant other for a six-month trip of his own around the world, and to an exploration of her own feelings about leaving, and coming home.
