Looking to create a unique business
brand that will represent what your business stands for? Well look no further than the five senses. With your brand in mind start thinking about what will best exemplify your business. Is it the smell of fresh grass, the color green and a circle? Or is it the smell of lavender, the sound of the ocean and the feel of teddy bears?
Canadian politics are boring? Canadian politics are not sensational? Pshaw! The last week has certainly thrown that notion out the window. Yes, Canada's 40th Parliament is proving to be a doozy. It's only been in session since November 18 and we've already seen the potential for another election, the potential for a coalition government made up of the minority parties and a lot of yelling. Now none of that is happening (at least not yet) because our Governor General has agreed to the Prime Minister's request that Parliament be prorogued. Translation? Parliament has been shut down for seven weeks so that everyone can get their act together, the Conservatives can deliver a budget and then we'll all be back to square one and looking at a vote of non-confidence.
Sometimes I really feel like there is something or someone watching over me that is out there to keep me on track. Like when Jimmy Buffett sings "Margaritaville" to me over and over after a crazy night out. It just seems too coincidental to not be planned out somehow, ya know?

Unfortunately for those who are getting presents from me, I am poor and will be giving HANDMADE presents out this year (whoa now, don’t get too excited!). This started with Jason’s birthday last week, which I baked a whole cake for. By myself.
My Little Darling got mauled by a
tiger the other day. And by "mauled by a tiger", I mean "miaowed at by
a cute puddy tat on the way home from school". It was a really friendly
cat, and I showed her how to let it sniff her hand and come to her, but
she was still backing off from it the closer it got. She adores dogs
and cats and most things animal-y but is still very nervous if they get
too close and I'm never sure, especially in the case of dogs how to
reassure her and tell her there's nothing to be scared of, while still
