It's Summer, I am Hot

But I would rather be one of the Cool Girls like Sarah from The Delicious Life who has put out a call for bloggers to make Icy Desserts for the latest edition of Sugar High Friday. Read on for some cool inspiration...

So pretty, green & green apple sorbet from Bea's beautiful kitchen.

Sinfully rich French Vanilla Ice Cream from Elise's Simply Recipes.

Grab your spoon for a bowl of Turkish Ice Cream. Find out which ingredient sets it apart at Grab Your Fork.

Things must be sizzling in Sweden where Anne is not only making raspberry slush, she is freezing her cheesecake too.

How about a homemade popsicle? Strawberry & Pineapple from Everybody Like Sandwiches, Yogurt and Strawberry Cream from Nosheteria or rhubarb and almond flavoured yoghurt ice-cream with strawberry syrup from Nordljus.

Or you could do something fancy with ice cream instead? Cass added a shot of Kahlua to hers whilst over at Toast you'll find the palest, prettiest pink ice cream made with Rose Geranium.

Thanks to all the cool girls, I am now feeling much more chilled. Hope you are too.

Store-Bought Fudgesicles

Sam, they are Fudgesicles brand fudge pops from the grocery store! I'm sure they have sweetener of some kind, either Splenda or nutra sweet (sigh) but I'm quite hooked on them. Don't have any right now or I'd look on the package and see just what is in them.
