BlogHim?
Now that would be cool...I really don't see too many blogs written by men. Are we women really overpowering the Blogsophere?
Yes, according to Neil
Neil is under the impression that yes, women are taking over the blogsphere. He writes about it often.

BlogHim?
With so many people blogging nowadays, the term "blog" is becoming a bit meaningless, as if the Mommy Blogger and the Microsoft P.R. blogger are in the same boat. There's no doubt that in the corporate/business/Technorati Top 100 slice of the blogosphere, it is still very much an old boy's network. That's why BlogHer serves an important role. But it's not hard to see how in the world of personal blogging, women's interests are central -- motherhood, marriage, dating, etc. Maybe, just like in real life, most men aren't very comfortable talking about personal things and would rather focus on the practical -- blogs about cars, computers, and gadgets. Of course this is a generalization, but I see more friendships developing between female personal bloggers, than between men.
I also notice that when I write a post that is personal, my women readers are usually very sympathetic to my concerns, while my male readers tend to joke about it. I don't fault them for this because I do the exact same thing when I visit other men's blogs -- I've been culturally taught to express myself very differently when interacting with a woman and with a man. And this gender difference gets filtered down into the comment sections of blogs.
I can't even visualize what a real BlogHim would be like.
That's why I read you!
Neil, that's why I read you because not only are you able to speak to the males in the blogsphere you are able to reach us as females.
Can we call you a renaissance man?
I find the same with some of my male readers but there are a few who truly are trying to connect emotionally with me.

BlogHim?
Hey Neil,
I actually found this post by doing a search on "BlogHim" so there is one other male blogger, who talks about personal issues in his blog, interested in such a thing. ;-)
Take care my brother in blogging!
