To be Canadian!

Sam over at sweet pleasure: plaisir sucré has finally gotten us Canadian bloggers together for a Blogging-By-Post event! I know, I know, European bloggers have been doing it forever and American bloggers are on the bandwagon and having a merry old time with it. Finally we get to join in on the festivities!

Sending and receiving packages is one of my favourite things to do. I love the thought that goes into the package - hunting for specialty items and finding *the*perfect combination for the recipient. Then to receive one back in the mail is especially exciting! Opening the box to find crumpled paper wrapped around tiny treasures...ooooh, I can hardly wait! Especially since the inaugural theme is one of my favourites: CHOCOLATE.

So if you are Canadian (and you don't have to necessarily be a "food" blogger) and want to take part - you have the rest of this week to post your recipe, put together your package and email Sam to let her know you want to participate! Friday May 5th is the deadline - so get packing!
