I want to be Blue and Mixed up

Cobalt blue to be specific, and I'd like to have some recommendations.

I know that KitchenAid used to make Cobalt Blue food processors, but, they don't appear to be available any longer. All I can find for sale is 'Willow Blue'. I know I missed the boat on this one.

I hesitate to venture away from my trusted sites like Amazon.com and JCPenney.com to order anything.

Does anyone have any favorite online retailers for appliances?

(I have thought of buying the replacement bowl and pusher things and using them with a white processor, but, I'd just rather have the cobalt blue if I could find one. I think I'm a bit late, it seemed to be all the rage last year, but, this year, everything is red which would NOT go well with my cobalt blue and peach kitchen).

Update! I've got it!

Guess what I just got in the mail?

Okay, I found a site who sells KitchenAid products, and it was out of stock, but, they had this thing where you could sign up and get an email notification if they got any more.
Well, a week and a half ago I got an email... I ordered it and have been waiting by the mailbox to see if it would indeed be 'cobalt' blue instead of 'willow' or something else.
But, I was thrilled to see it was Cobalt Blue just as advertised. They said 7-14 days for shipping, I think, and it was about 6, I think. Tickled pink.

Ebay

Any time I'm looking for something that's been discontinued - even if it's been discontinued for YEARS - I end up finding dozens of whatever it is on Ebay.

I found two on ebay, but, both of them had disclaimers on the bottom saying they couldn't guarantee color or exact model? I don't get that because they were clearly advertised as cobalt blue. I'll keep checking to see if there's finally a straightforward seller who CAN guarantee my color.

You might want to try www.qvc.com You can check them online and search their inventory and you might just find that color blue. They often offer things that aren't available in stores. It's worth the look.

Looks like the same story for my slow self, though... the search terms say cobalt, but, blue willow is coming up when I get to the product page.
I might just have to bite the bullet and give up on my blue.

Brilliant suggestion, and I actually hadn't thought to check there. Unfortunately, Ace Hardware was my only hit and I'm out of luck there, too. Shucks!

Of course, I think I just found a great place to check for my rubber ducky toilet seat. Woohoo! :-D

Thanks for taking the time to look and save for me, Denise, that is so nice. :-)

But, I have to say... I'm actually looking for a food processor, not the mixer (why, oh, why, can't they have the whole line of products!? :-))

But, for anyone else who follows the link, I've got a model very similar to this kitchenaid mixer and it's really nice.

Oh shoot, I read kitchen aid

and thought mixer and went and found the link and didn't go any further. I'm sort of allergic to kitchen gadgets. And kitchens, except during clean up. I like the clean up.

What a coincidence! I adore appliances, gadgets and cooking... and am quite allergic to cleaning up! :-D Who knew? (well, aside from my husband... he just doesn't GET why I need four different cheese graters... using two for the prep of one meal ~sigh~)
