Congrats on the new site! Looks great and I love the network it's helping to grow. My first thought on seeing the site was, "Yay, they're running Drupal. I wonder how many BlogHers are going to DrupalCon 2006 in Vancouver?"
Where would be the best place on the site to post this query? I understand wanting to keep the forums under control but it would be nice to have a place for questions to the BlogHer community. Just a thought! And if you are going to DrupalCon and would like meet up, let me know!
A big thank you to Lisa, Elisa, Jory et al for creating this platform, it's awesome.

I think more forum topics
I think more forum topics would be great too. I would love to ask some somewhat technical things about blogs - like how to get rid of the 'nofollow' in WP, but I have no idea where to ask it.
Agreed
I completely agree. I feel that this forum is active enough as it is and could probably explode in activity with more thorough forum topics and features (emailing me a reminder when someone has replied to my topic would be nice!).

Definitely
I haven't been on BlogHer for very long, but I do have some experience in forums and I think this one would benefit greatly from some additional topics. This is a site for women and women love to chit chat, so one would expect these forums to be hopping but alas, they are quite dead. Anyway, some suggestions: technical blogging (sub topics: code, design, software and hardware), professional blogging (sub topics: ad programs, donations, how to's), topical vs. personal blogging (subtopics: journaling, home & family, entertainment, womanhood, etc.).
