Let's backtrack a bit. Last summer, Lisa Salem (a mixed media artist who paints beautifully) walked the whole of Los Angeles with a camera strapped on to a baby stroller and stopped people on the street to document their encounter.
"Walk! Los Angeles with me" turned into a tour of not only the city, but of it's people. From Echo Park to Skid Row to Hollywood to Crenshaw and everywhere in between. Lisa gives us a view of a city we often don't see.
Currently, it seems she's trying to get funding to turn her experience into a documentary and has already had an episode shown on regional cable. Stop by and say hello.
