The biggest mistake you can make is to attempt to
write about something that does not hold your interest. Everyone knows
something about something or at least an opinion. To become the best
writer that you can be, follow these tips...

1. Topic

Choose
a topic that you like not one that you heard was something good to
write about. If you happen to choose a topic that you no nothing about,
research it, research it, research it until you know it- then start
writing.

2. Voice

A daughter's Senior year can be a time of great stress or the best time of her life. Seniors get to participate in many activities that are geared towards only them, celebrating their successful leap from child to adult. Senior Prom, Senior Skip Day, Graduation and Senior Pictures are all part of the process of graduating High School...along with passing grades, of course!

The unthinkable happened in March of 2006, my cousin’s son was
murdered.   Mary Winkler was later convicted of “Voluntary
Manslaughter”.   The news of the murder reached the media and suddenly
my extended family found themselves in the national spotlight during
one of the most horrific nightmares of their life.   Dan and Diane
Winkler have lived their Christian walk throughout their lives.  This
tragedy would test their faith and trust in God.

I'm not an ardent McCain supporter, as if you haven't noticed. I'm still torn about whether I should hold my nose and vote for him against Obama, or whether I should vote my conscience and, unfortunately, "waste" one on Bob Barr. The thing with Bob is that, although we agree in principle, we have very divergent views on facial hair. I can't handle that mustache and am having a very difficult time justifying a ratifying vote.

Fresh Air

The hand breaks on my bike do not work and I decided that for $46 or whatever I paid for the bike that maybe, you didn't get real hand breaks at that price point. Peddles, sure, handle bars? For sure, and if you're cute enough or they really need to make the merchandise move, they'll throw in a seat.. But not the hand breaks. If you could afford a bike with hand breaks you would not be bike shopping at Wal-Mart.

I had the Mirena IUD put in about 10 days ago. Three days later I was begging my doctor to take it out. I was having a host of side-effects, the most disconcerting was difficulty breathing, on top of headache, super fatigue (like early pregnancy), total brain fog (would read things over and over again and not comprehend), and overall, general bitchiness, if you can consider that a side effect.

I'm a label reader.  I am that person in the grocery store or pharmacy who stands there in the aisle, dazed look on her face, as she studies the tiny writing on the backs of jars and boxes.  I'm the person who peels back the little sticker at the bottom of a tub of concealer or on the side of a lipstick to see the listed ingredients.  At least 75% of the time, the item I'm studying ends up back on the shelf.

Caprese salad or Insalata Caprese is famous enough to have its own Wikipedia entry, and serious food lovers wait all year for fresh tomato season so they can make this salad, literally translated as "Salad in the style of Capri."
