If it's your own post
You should be able to edit it. If it's not -- or if you do not see an "Edit" button above the post -- you can use the form to request the changes be made by site admins.
No Edit button
I don't see an edit button so I guess I'll continue to use the form. So far I've submitted requests for the following changes to the nonprofit blogrool:
-Delete "Annalee Newitz on Alternete" (the first link to her site, that is spelled correctly is fine).
-Correct "Otherwise Engaged" It is misspelled as Otherwrise Engaged.
Laura....
In the Health & Wellness Blogroll, A Woman of Many Parts is duplicated. Amanda and I both submitted and both entries appear. I put in a request, using the form, to have one removed. I just went to see if I could remove the one I added and I don't see an edit function. Should I resubmit the request to have one removed?

Another duplicate...
Besides the duplicate of A Woman of Many Parts, we now have two listings for A Shot in the Dark 0 a CE submitted one and the owner submitted it as well. Both duplicate issues are in Health & Wellness.

me too
I've submitted a few corrections- I feel bad because they were my mistake- duplicates or an error in the web address. Also, in the beginning I didn't correctly categorize some of the blogs.
I have a feeling with the site just going live, a lot of folks are submitting blogs for approval and laura and lisa are probably backed up. So, no worries.
Mystery solved!
Hi everyone,
I have found the emails! They weren't getting to my usual email box because I sent them to the wrong place. I beg your pardon for the delay - I'm getting on these tonight.
Best,

Another reason blogs gets duplicated
Another "learning experience": the system does alert us when we've approved a URL that's already been approved, but it can't catch if one person submits it as blogname.com, while another person submits it as blogname.com/index.html (as one example.)
So, I finally started approving blogs with the A to Z BlogHerRoll open on another tab, so I could doublecheck as I went.
Thanks for letting us know about the dupes, and we've hopefully caught it so there won't be anymore.

Notification of new blogs to blogroll
Is there a way for CEs of sections to be notified when new blogs are added to our blogrolls? I didn't see anything in our notification section or on the blogroll page, but I mighta missed it.
Britt
Britt, you can subscribe to a feed of the
blogroll itself
Britt,
If you use a newsreader like Bloglines or NewsGator, you can subscribe to a feed of the BlogHer blogroll in your topic area. You will get new articles in the feed as blogs are added.
I follow the Technology blogroll this way and just add the new blogs to my subscriptions as they come in. It's not totally automated but it's better than checking the website.
The feed links are on the syndication page. Scroll down to the bottom where it says "Syndicate: BlogHer Blogroll" and grab the link from your topic area. Then subscribe to it in your newsreader.

Thanks!
Thanks, Anne! It's all set up in my bloglines account.
A Shot in the Dark
Hello,
I'm the owner of this blog, and just realized that I submitted my URL to your blogroll after it had already been listed.
Is it possible to have the listing I submitted removed? Do I need to submit a request for removal?
From the above messages, it sounds like you're aware of the duplicates issue and are set to address it in the future. Not sure if this applies to existing duplicates.
Thanks for your help!
BTW, Thanks very much for the mention of my blog here.
