They can be trained to do amazing things--help the blind, assist with search and rescue, and even predict seizures in humans before they occur. Are some dogs really smarter than others? And does it really matter? I give all of my dogs an A+ for their unconditional love. Of course in my highly opinionated opinion, I also think all my canine pals over the years were very smart.
