Stephanie Tubbs-Jones (D-OH) suffered a brain aneurysm Tuesday evening and is on life support in a Cleveland hospital, according to news reports and a statement from her Congressional office.According to news reports, the fifth-term Congresswoman was spotted driving erratically around 9pm Tuesday evening in the Cleveland Heights section of the city. A police officer found her unconscious in her car and arranged for emergency medical care.

I won't presume to know better than a bunch of college and university presidents...But, I'm just not sure I believe that lowering the drinking age to 18 will reduce teen binge drinking. However, I imagine, it might take some of the responsibility off of the colleges to reduce underage drinking on their campuses.

I love lists; I love the illusion of order and control that a list gives me.  I make lists all the time; lists are soothing and comforting and calming.  But a list can also be limiting, because it makes us conscious of what is left out.  The whole idea of a To Do list, for example, is to eliminate all the unnecessary things that clutter our day so that we can focus ONLY on the list and GET THINGS DONE.  And while this kind of focus can be helpful, it can also be stressful, because we're aware of all the possibilities we are passing by.
