$5.00 jeans
I bbought a fabulous pair of jeans upstaris in Filene's Department Store in Boston about 6 years ago. They have a lovely embroidered vine up the side. They cost $5. Whenever I wear them, I get a compliment. I hadn't worn them in about 5 months and decided to wear them on the plane coming down to Charlotte from Boston and I got a compliment on them. If I had known how well they would fit, hold their shape and color, I would have bought the other styles they had that day.
I do feel a bit of guilt because I can only imagine how little the woman who made them was paid.
The other fine was a pair of authentic navy wool sailots pants in a thrift shop for $15.00.
Happy thrifting
