I recently moved from Alaska to Rhode Island, where I am pursuing a career in glassblowing. It seemed like the natural thing to do after living in Boston, California, and New York City to pursue careers in coffee making, optometry, credit card grifting, bagel slinging, village fishing and working for the United Nations. As a result of these decisions, I've purchased five beds in eight years.
I like to move, to travel, to meet different people, get drunk with these people and curse at the moon before eating our weight in pancakes.
A day isn't complete unless I've learned something new or challenged myself, and I derive great pleasure from communication. I also derive great pleasure from making my friend Katie laugh hard enough to pee her pants or seeing dogs in sweaters.
My first book was published in 2004 and is available on Amazon.com. My second book, focusing on my childhood and sexual abuse survival, will be available the moment I finish writing it. You can learn more about me at Knotty Yarn.
