Andrea Meyers is an instructional
designer as well as the author of the cooking blog Andrea's Recipes, and founder of the blogging event Grow
Your Own. A classically trained singer and former teacher, she spent eight years teaching at U.S. schools in Saipan, Colombia, and Saudi Arabia, and now lives with her husband and three boys in the DC Metro/Northern Virginia area. Though most of her days are filled with trucks, trains, music, bikes, and games, Andrea enjoys teaching her boys about food and cooking and often the family can be found in the
kitchen working on their latest experiment. She's also a contributing
writer for the DC Metro Moms
