Do Men Really Even Know What It Is They Want?
by Maria Jacks

So I think as women we constantly hear men say "What is it women really want?" But I think I have come to the conclusion that women too can ask that same question of men. A couple of months ago, I started to get to know this guy..lets call him Chase.

One night Chase said to me that he wanted to be with me, I'm different from the other girls he knows and he would love nothing more than to date me but wanted to get to know me first. Off course that is a valid request, I would not want to date him either without getting to know him. So Chase and I spent some time getting to know one another, couple of unofficial dates, and he even took me to a formal event with his friends. Everything seemed to be going well and we were on the right track when one night he said to me "I can't do this anymore." But he did not end it there, he continued to say I am everything he wanted but he knew he couldn't treat me the way I deserve to be treated.

Now that to me does not make any sense! I am what you are looking for, everything is going well, but you don't know how to be a good boyfriend? Well learn! Bascially I think what Chase was trying to get at was that he was not ready to be in a faithful relationship. Little does Chase know, the ship has sailed and while Chase and I still talk and on occassion he still expresses his interest in me, I am not waiting for him until he is ready to settle down. So this makes me wonder, guys like Chase, they know what they want, they find what they want, but is it what they really want? What is it that guys like Chase really want?? And if what they want appears to them at a time they are not ready for it, do they let it go?

If you don't look in a mirror, you won't notice the effects of gravity. And if you hold off until your eyesight begins to "progress" then you'll never know what you missed out on noticing. And those hot flashes. I'm hoping that when they come I can finally have an excuse for being so sweaty.
