I don't know what it is about those pretty, dainty confections but I simply cannot get enough of them! They're so cute and so perfect (not too big, not too small but just right) for any and all occasions.
To be Canadian!
Sam over at sweet pleasure: plaisir sucré has finally gotten us Canadian bloggers together for a Blogging-By-Post event! I know, I know, European bloggers have been doing it forever and American bloggers are on the bandwagon and having a merry old time with it. Finally we get to join in on the festivities!
I have to say, I love SHF...(probably why I started it!). But really, I do love seeing so many people's results when given the "task" to make a dessert with one specific theme or ingredient. It's amazing what people can come up with every month!
Anita over at Dessert First has learned what I personally think is an extremely valuable lesson. Although she is a "self-proclaimed pastry fanatic" and has attended pastry school she still sees the benefit in pre-made, frozen phyllo dough.
Chandra over at Lick the Spoon has kicked Sugar High Friday up a notch this month. She is officially giving us all permission to imbibe and enjoy...and play with matches at the same time!
Her theme "Candy is Dandy but Liquor is Quicker" is sure to instill some wonderful ideas in all Sugar Freaks next Friday (April 21st)...be sure to check our her blog for the round-up by the end of that weekend!
Contributing Editor Jennifer Hamilton also blogs at The Domestic Goddess.
